The variety of "takes" on any number of issues or topics, the sheer fun of having great discussions and laughing...and agreeing...and gaining new insights...when you'd thought , possibly, you knew it all. Variety of ages, opinions, not a bunch of clones.

Strength lies in numbers for all of us there; it can only validate and strengthen our feelings of humanism, freethought, atheism, naturalism, etc. We instantly felt surrounded by friends that would be supportive, and so for us, it was a release of closet non-theist, free-thinking, humanist beliefs, where we could unload a burden kept secret. It will most likely do this for others. It's fun and interesting to hear of others' journeys on the road to their beliefs!

A good place to express your opinion and get some refuge from the general supernaturalist culture we're immersed in here in Oklahoma.

They are a great group who will not talk over you and will take the good with the bad. They are what I call true adults.

Intellectual and stimulating people who were considerate, knowing and understanding. Hard to find a group more interesting and enjoyable.

It is an above average in accepting of all. I can't imagine anyone being uncomfortable with these folks.
